Chornyi in the Castle

I would like to tell you about the opening of Volodymyr Chornyi's exhibition“Chornyi in the Castle.”This opening symbolically united the past, present, and future — our nation’s brightest standing in pixelated camouflage, consciously defending our statehood. Even Saint Nicholas, like all the forces of good, is now with us in pixels.

The Volodymyr Chornyi Foundation is grateful to the staff of Zbarazh Castle at the National Reserve “Castles of Ternopil Region” for their hospitality and support in hosting the exhibition in this mysterious castle.Special thanks to Olha Stankevych for the invitation to this remarkable historic site.

We also thank the young cadets and visitors who allowed us to introduce them to Vovchyk — to his identity as both a warrior and an artist.
